Wali-G
Speech Rehab

Recently, my grandma had a stroke. So now she can't see, lost her ability to walk...and can't speak. The doctor say her speech is like a shuffled rolodex.

She is going to have to require a speech therapist.

I know nothing of speech therapy, but I'm thinking what might help if grandma had some video or audio of herself...to hear herself say the right words...

This situation made me think of two things-

1. the heroic antics of today's elderly on their death bed is found in the feedback and knowledge they can pass to the next generation... knowledge such as what pharmaceuticals (or combinations of) do to a fragile system... side effects and such... the better they can communicate and testify their survival fight, the better future generations are.

2. could I create an audio or video of myself teaching my future, stroke prone old self, to talk? Try to be my own speech therapist?
