Wali-G
This week on TV

1. Iroquois LaCrosse team got denied entry into England because the international community did not recognize the validity of their Iroquois passports....

Need to get those passports up to "War on Terror" standards...I applaud their efforts; build those nations if you have the prosperity...set-up strong nations...go global...

...for some reason, even as a white man in America, I foresee there will probably be a point in the future of America where these nations within a nation will be this country's saving grace.

2. best part of CSPAN this week- after Richard Holbrooke, Special Representative for Pakistan and Afghanistan, got done speaking about the war and setting a time frame with a ditzy 20-something year old blonde looking clueless in the background, ...as the crowd was leaving, one particular 40-something not-so-ditzy blonde in the crowd could be heard speaking on how much money is being wasted on this conflict while the financial problems at home are being ignored...that we need to get out of there...

What a creative and powerful way for one person to get their free speech into the heads of congress and the general, congress-following, CSPAN public.

3. worst part of CSPAN- just as the lady speaking on job creation and small business creation was peaking this entrepreneur's ear,..useful, important stuff to the integrity of our system and aspiring business builders... CSPAN switched its feed over to the capital... where the camera stared at a door and a security guard for 3 minutes.... and then led to the house speaker dismissing the session for another couple of hours...

Come on CSPAN producer... be on that shit.

4. If I'm watching right, now's a great time to have a business plan ready to rock... I see congress realizing that their best bet to fix the economy is to create new businesses... Small business is this county's backbone...we've lost our financial backbone.

Funds/grants should be provided and the red-tape cleared... $800 billion was used to 'save' the economy and create up to 3 million jobs...this is not enough, especially since the economy has not been saved. I think we can get a better return for the Treasury than the standard set here: we created 3 million jobs at $266,000 a job...

Just think what would happen to the economy if 3 million new businesses were started with $266,000 each... not all of them are going to make it, but even if a third of them do, it's hard for me not to imagine that the open market and our entrepreneurs, could create 3 to 10 times that many jobs...

5. I'm also learning that the republican party seems to have their loyalties with the Big Players in the economy... now that all of their buddies (the people they feel are most likely to end their republican reign in congress) they could give two shits about the little guy on unemployment.

Yeah, I want that budget balanced too, but picking the people that have the least impact on their political careers, and nickel and dime them to the street, doesn't seem like a very American answer....especially since many of us hard working entrepreneurs are trying to use this money to start businesses to get off the tax-payer dollar.
