Taking people seriously

I see in this media and political arena of the day, that people feel that they need to be 100% on all of their calls... that they need to stick to their guns as a strategy..

Personally, I raise red-flags when people refuse to make apologies for mistakes... sensible human's make mistakes.

It's great if you can get by in life without making mistakes...but its not realistic... probably not even healthy... even though the media and politicians want to project that perfect image, the reality is humans make mistakes in judgement constantly...

Apologize. Most people are forgiving (even though, again, media tends to make it look like we aren't).... besides the minute you stop listening to overwhelming, positive feedback that you are wrong, that's the minute I stop taking you seriously.
